“United AI of Europe” links Berlin and Paris to form a European AI alliance

Berlin/Paris – United AI of Europe is a new European initiative that strategically connects two of the continent’s most influential AI events: the BIG BANG AI Festival in Berlin (16–17 September 2026) and Adopt AI in Paris (3–4 December 2026). Its aim is not merely to discuss the mega‑trend of artificial intelligence in Europe, but to build a visible, interconnected platform for exchange, inspiration and implementation – cutting across national borders, industries and ecosystems.

IIn the global race for AI leadership, two power centres currently dominate: the United States and China. Europe, by contrast, possesses a distinctive strength that has too rarely been expressed as a unified force: outstanding research, a powerful industrial base, world‑leading hidden champions, high standards of quality and safety, and a clear set of values. United AI of Europe builds on exactly this foundation. The initiative brings together Europe’s AI community, makes innovation more visible, and strengthens Europe’s voice in the global competition.

Why cooperation between two major events matters

When major platforms join forces, they create more than reach – they create connection: between start-ups and corporates, academia and SMEs, investors and users, policymakers and practitioners. Instead of parallel, isolated initiatives, United AI of Europe creates continuity. Berlin provides the major European meeting point for business, industry and decision‑makers – Paris then delivers the next impulse at the end of the year, opening new markets and accelerating international networking.

AI in particular is evolving at breakneck speed: models, agents, applications and regulation shift within months. A linked format across the year ensures that Europe keeps pace, learns faster and implements faster. This creates a European “innovation loop”: insights, contacts and pilot projects from Berlin flow into Paris – and from Paris back into European markets.

Catapulting Europe onto the global AI map

United AI of Europe aims not only to describe Europe’s AI potential, but to make it tangible: through shared thematic clusters, curated exchange formats, cross‑event speaker and partner programmes, and strong international visibility. The goal is to position Europe as a meaningful shaper of the AI future – not as a spectator, but as a player with its own innovative strength and distinctive identity.

The Berlin–Paris alliance sends a clear signal: Europe is pooling expertise, building bridges and accelerating implementation. United AI of Europe is a step towards turning AI in Europe from a series of isolated events into a sustained movement – and towards visibly strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in this key technology.
