Location

The STATION Berlin is one of the capital's most striking event locations – centrally located in the heart of Berlin, not far from Potsdamer Platz. The impressive, listed site of the former postal railway station combines industrial charm with state-of-the-art infrastructure and provides the perfect setting for the BIG BANG AI Festival 2026: a place for inspiration, information, networking, exchange and further education.

FAQ

Tickets & Check-in

Check-in is open from 8:00 AM on both days – 16 and 17 September 2026. Registration is staffed all day, so you can check in whenever you like.

Yes! Doors open at 8:00 AM. It can get busy at peak times, so plan a few minutes of buffer. And early birds are rewarded: between 8:00 and 8:30 AM there's a free coffee at the bar.

No. Just have your ticket ready digitally on your smartphone – that keeps entry quick and smooth.

Yes. For security reasons we carry out a bag check at the entrance. Please allow a few extra minutes for this.

Your badge determines your access rights and is scanned at entry, at exit and at the masterclasses. Some areas are additionally controlled by hosts and security.

On-site

Yes. There's a cloakroom right at the entrance – you can drop off hand luggage, jackets, suitcases and the like there.

There's a central info point in the middle of the grounds – your go-to for all questions. It's marked with an "i" on the site map (in the app and on-site).

Food trucks and bars will keep you fed and watered on the festival grounds. Food and drinks there are available for purchase. You'll find all locations marked with the corresponding icons on the site map.

Yes. You'll find power-bank stations in both halls (BLUE & ORANGE HALL). For a deposit you can – subject to availability – borrow a power bank and charge your device on the go.

Yes, there's Wi-Fi for all guests. You'll find the Wi-Fi password in the festival app.

Yes. STATION Berlin is wheelchair accessible. All main areas have step-free access, and accessible restrooms are available.

Yes. Paramedics are on-site and marked on the site map. In an emergency you can also turn to staff or the info point at any time.

Programme, Masterclasses & Certificate

You could apply for masterclasses in advance via the event app. In case of overbooking, spots were allocated by random draw. From 10 September you'll see your final masterclasses in the app under the calendar icon.

If a masterclass you previously booked no longer appears there, unfortunately you weren't selected in the draw.

It's worth a try. Registered participants have priority, but for some rooms you can join at the back. And if enough registered guests don't show up (no-shows), you'll get in as normal.

Attend at least three AI-certified talks to receive your certificate. Here's how:

  1. In the "Programme" tab, filter by the "Fit for KI" label.
  2. Prove attendance: at masterclasses your badge is scanned on entry. At panel talks & keynotes, scan the QR code at the end of the presentation directly with your smartphone (not via the app).
  3. After the festival you'll receive your "Fit for KI" certificate by email.

Yes. Our partner PHONT provides live subtitles in German ↔ English for selected talks. Just scan the QR code at the top left of the LED wall with your smartphone or tablet – no app installation required. Subtitles appear in real time, and for panels PHONT automatically detects speaker changes.

Event App & Networking

We highly recommend it: the app bundles the programme & your personal agenda, site map, masterclass sign-up, speaker and attendee overview, matchmaking and chat all in one place.

Download: App Store · Google Play

You'll receive an email with a personal magic link that takes you straight to your profile. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play and then complete your profile.

In the app you select topic and "I offer" tags – matching contacts are shown to you as matches. You can message them directly and arrange meetings in advance via "Book a meeting".

The meeting points are the Networking Points (Tiny Space 1 & 2), which you can also book through the app.

Evening & What's Next

Yes. After the stage programme on the first day (around 6:45 PM) the official aftershow party kicks off on the NEPTUN STAGE – with live music, food, drinks and plenty of space to deepen old and new connections.
